This is Mom at the Arc de Triumphe. We decided NOT to climb the steps to the top. However, we did enjoy walking around. Inside the arch (you can sort of see in the picture) is a huge French flag. Later that day we saw the Musee D'Orsay.By the way, Mom, a coffee drinker almost gave up trying to find a 'decent' cup of American style coffee. We did find one-- at Starbucks! Lucky me, I could get a good cup of tea everywhere!

What a nice picture of your Paris vacation. I liked meeting your mother, what a sweet lady she looks to be. Such a sweet memory.
It looks like a lot of tourists in the background. I imagine you were able to get a lot of exercise with all the walking you two must have done sightseeing. I am enjoying your vacation with you as much as if I had been there with you and your mother. I enjoy going on vacations in my Lazyboy Recliner. ;)
