The Heart Truth- Red Dress

Go deeper than the pink, go red. Go deeper than the breast, go to the heart.

Heart disease is the NUMBER ONE killer of women in the USA. Eat right, exercise, get enough sleep, and cultivate social relationships (make friends!); these will help save your heart. I know because I have CAD, coronary artery disease.

Footsteps

These footprints can be found on Butler's Main Street from the courthouse to Penn Street. Then they continue up Penn into Alameda Park. It's for the annual Butler 5k (or is it 10k) race.

I don't know how long Butler has been doing this but I do know that my cousin Brad (hello) asked what they were back in 1989 when our grandmother, Nanna, died.

Another abnormality on Main Street is the crosswalks. All traffic stops for pedestrians. Pedestrians cross with the lights and a bell (ok, now it's a tone) meant for the blind. It took me years to relearn how to walk across a street. Seems in every other town and city on the planet that traffic stops on one road but continues AND TURNS on the cross roads.
