In 1996 we moved to a new school building. The old buildings are still there; ok, some of the old buildings are still there. The main high school building has been left to rot over the years and has suffered a lot of vandalism. To combat this a fence was erected around the building. To keep the grass and weeds down, two goats have been given a home behind the fence. Before anyone calls the pet police please note that they are owned and well cared for.
I drove to the old school (it isn't far from the 'new' school-- nothing is far away in TinyTown!) to take pictures of the bonfire set up and decided to take pics of the remaining buildings. The goats happened to be on the road side of the high school so I took this picture.
A three part bond that passed this past spring included funds to remove the old school. It also included new technology so we have electronic white boards (by Promethean). Money-- got to love it.

That is one way to keep the lawn mowed.
My Grandson-in-law raises goats. I will have to post a picture of him and Evan and the goats when Evan was 8 or 9 months old, sometime. Evan is 3 years old now.
How is the weather? Has the rain moved on? The grass looks nice and green.
It's been cloudy and rained a little. Next two days have highs in the 80s and 90s without rain. Rain returns on Tuesday (when I have to drive to Waco.)
