It's homecoming week and Thursday night means bonfire! The seniors build a bonfire to light the night before the homecoming game. This year the kids added their names. Anyone from outside of town might think we have a race problem. Not really. We have a great mix of students: white, black and brown. In a small town we learn to work together in order to get anything done! Way to go seniors! Go Tigers!

Homecoming week in our little town is next week. It's always a fun time for the kids, and on Friday they have a parade in the afternoon, which I usually go and watch. I guess I'm just a kid at heart. ; )
We got out of school early today for a parade at 2 pm. I took Nanna. It's only a block and a half from my house so we walk. I love watching the little kids catch candy thrown by the football players and sweethearts.
