Travelers, as I understand myself to be, prefer to be somewhere else or on the way there. Texas is pockmarked by tiny towns where football rules and gossip appears even in the weekly newspaper. I place these two items together because they represent the life I have now. I want to be somewhere else (see my blog title) but I am in a tiny town with very little to say for itself. In church last night, I was reminded that the people here have become my friends. I am not from here and do not wish to remain here; but I cannot say I have been unwelcome.
It is time for another BIG CHANGE in my life. A new look, a new attitude, a new job, a new home, and a new country sound like the answer. I love the US of A; I am an American after all. I just want something . . . different.
